In fact, an important piece of legislation was passed in 1975 that stated a dealer could not deny your warranty coverage just because you chose to have routine maintenance or repairs done by someone else, or to install aftermarket parts that are deemed acceptable by your state's specific legislation. I installed the frame mounted fuel filter and water separator on a 2015 Ram 6.7 3500. Run it through the car wash or hit rain and it will give me a “fuel in water” warning everytime. I’ve made sure things were tightened up and still gives the warning…
