When To Change Them

Above all recommendations, follow your vehicle's manufacturer warranty guidelines.

Engine Oil — Standard Service: every 10,000–15,000 miles maximum
Engine Oil — Severe Service (towing, heavy loads, extreme conditions): every 7,500–10,000 miles maximum
Transmission Fluid — Normal Duty: every 60,000–100,000 miles maximum
Transmission Fluid — Severe Duty: every 30,000–50,000 miles maximum
DEF: top off as needed; replace at the first sign of contamination or crystallization
Washer Fluid: mix to season — step up concentration as temperatures drop
