BRAKES WARRANTY FAQs
It depends on your load. The warranty covers light-duty personal and fleet use. If your vehicle is towed or hauled beyond its rated GVWR at any point, the warranty is voided. If you tow within your vehicle's rated capacity under normal conditions, you're covered.
Yes. Proper pad bed-in is required. Skipping the bed-in process — or performing it incorrectly — voids the warranty. Doc's Diesel installation instructions include the full bed-in procedure. If you're unsure, email support@docsdiesel.com before your first drive.
No. Any track use, motorsport activity, or racing — including a single track day — voids the warranty entirely. The DB Series is engineered for street and light fleet use, not competition or sustained high-heat driving cycles.
Either is fine. The warranty is valid whether installed by a professional technician or DIY, as long as components are installed to OEM torque specifications using a torque wrench. Installation by impact tool only (without final torque verification) is not acceptable and may void the claim.
No. Warranty remedy covers replacement parts or a refund of the original purchase price only. Doc's Diesel is not responsible for labor costs, towing, or any incidental expenses related to the failure.
No. Any rotor that has been machined, turned, or resurfaced below minimum thickness is excluded from warranty coverage, regardless of when the issue was first noticed.
No. The warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only. It does not carry over to a new owner.
Contamination from oil, grease, brake fluid, or chemical exposure on friction surfaces voids the warranty. This includes contamination that occurred before, during, or after installation.
Doc's Diesel will respond within 3 business days of receiving your completed claim form, photos, and proof of purchase. If your claim is approved, an RMA number will be issued and return instructions provided. Do not ship parts back without a valid RMA.
