Calipers + Kits

New Calipers. Firm Pedal. Straight Stops.

A spongy pedal, a truck that pulls under braking, or a wheel that runs hot after a short drive usually points to the same problem: a caliper that's worn out or seized. Doc's Diesel Brake Calipers are 100% new and zinc-plated, with new castings and pistons, pressure-tested and built to bolt on and clamp evenly every time you hit the brakes. Because they're new, not remanufactured, there's no core charge and no heavy iron to box up and ship back. You skip the dealership markup and the gamble on a budget-brand reman.

Brake Calipers for Cummins, Powerstroke + Duramax

This collection covers the heavy-duty diesel pickups that work hardest: RAM 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins 2500/3500 (2001–2025), Ford 6.0L, 6.4L, and 6.7L Powerstroke F-250/350/450 (2005–2022), and Chevrolet/GMC 6.6L Duramax 2500HD/3500HD (2001–2020). Every caliper is a direct OE fit, so there's no modifying brackets and no "making it work." Use the Vehicle Selection Tool to see exactly what fits your truck.

Choose How Much of the Brake Job You Want Done

Caliper Kits give you new calipers for the front, rear, or both axles, with the option to add the brake fluid you'll need to bleed the system. Complete Brake Kits put calipers, rotors, and pads in one box, so the whole axle is handled in a single order. Complete Front Brake Kits + Hub Assemblies go one step further and cover the entire front corner, which makes sense when you're already tearing into it. Most kits are available in a black or silver caliper finish, with or without brake fluid.

Complete kits also let you pick your rotor. High-Carbon rotors resist warping under sustained heat and deliver quieter, smoother stops, making them the right call for daily drivers and steady towing. Drilled + Slotted rotors shed heat fast and add stronger initial bite, built for trucks pulling heavy loads through hills and grades.

When to Replace Brake Calipers

Above all recommendations, follow your vehicle manufacturer's warranty and service schedule. Calipers don't run on a set mileage clock. Replace them when they show symptoms: a soft or sinking pedal, pulling to one side, uneven pad wear, fluid seeping at the piston, or brake drag that heats up a wheel and costs you fuel economy. Replace calipers in pairs on the same axle to keep clamping force balanced. For the pads and rotors in a complete kit, Doc's recommends replacing brake pads every 30,000–70,000 miles maximum and rotors every 50,000–70,000 miles maximum. If you tow frequently or haul heavy loads, inspect your brakes every 15,000–20,000 miles.

Built to OEM Specs. Backed by the Doc's Fitment Guarantee. No guesswork. No BS.

Every caliper is designed to pair with Doc's Diesel brake pads and rotors, so the whole system works together the way it should.
